Programming a USER coin
To start programming a USER coin to the Micro Touch Security System the LED can be in any mode! The programming is very simple and can be done as many times as necessary.
Step # 1
Touch the coin labeled (Master) to the dash probe. Once you see the LED change from whichever mode it was in, into an alternating RED/GREEN LED, quickly touch the new USER coin to the dash probe. Once you do this, you will notice the LED go out for approximately ½ second then start flashing GREEN. This indicates that the procedure was done properly. To add an additional USER coin, repeat this step over.
Step # 2
Now test the USER coin and see if it works. Once you touch the USER coin to the dash probe the RED flashing LED will turn a solid GREEN. At this time you will be able to start the vehicle. If the LED remains flashing RED, then repeat step # 1 again. If the LED is GREEN open and close the driver’s door to re-trigger the system. Once you have closed the driver’s door the LED should now be flashing RED. Now touch the USER coin to the dash probe and the RED flashing LED will turn a solid GREEN and now you may start the vehicle.
