The MT-IGN-REV 99-02 RACER rev-limiter was designed for ALL 1999-02 Sea•Doo watercraft with 951cc R.A.V.E. engines only. (Carbureted Models ONLY) The curve below was derived from the GTX-L Watercraft and should be used on this watercraft if you are going to use typical 91 Octane fuel! Notice the large dip in the curve at 6,000rpm. This retard was designed in the curve by Sea•Doo for a good reason. The engine is making the most torque and the GTX-L is a very large/heavy watercraft and the engine is working its hardest at this rpm. Therefor it is very prone for detonation at this rpm.
